FROM THE PRINCIPAL AND ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Last Sunday’s Gospel
It was the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul last Sunday. We heard in one of the readings that an angel led Peter out of prison where he was chained and between two guards but still simply walked out with the angel. We also heard Jesus telling Peter he was to be the leader of the church moving forward. Peter therefore became the first Pope, appointed by Jesus and all other Popes have been voted in by the successors to the Apostles, the Bishops made Cardinals - the closest advisors to the Pope. Paul is included with Peter because while he was not an apostle and didn’t actually meet Jesus, it was his teaching and extraordinary journeys that spread the Good News throughout Europe. Without both of these men, we wouldn’t have the legacy of Jesus living with us 2000 years later.

Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews
We hope these meetings have been useful for you and your child with regards to learning about their learning - what they have accomplished and the learning they need to do next. If you have any feedback for us, we would be very glad to hear it.
Principal Information Session and Q and A
We will hold two sets of these for Term 3. The topics will include behaviour data at your request and the recommendations from the Cyclic Inquiry process. We are just finalising dates based on when this report is available so we will get them to you very soon.
We are praying it will be dry enough to still hold the athletics carnival on Friday. Office staff have been in contact with the venue today. We will keep you posted on any changes. Hopefully to slightly different format to previous years will serve us well. I am sure you will give us feedback about the day. We are looking forward to a happy and successful last day of the term. Thank you also to the parents who have attended the three Induction Sessions I ran recently. We are grateful to you for giving your time to work with us and our students.
Student Break
We hope you have a happy and safe holiday with your children and look forward to welcoming you back to a site that is ready for the next stage of our ‘farm’ once the levelling and fencing is complete during the break.
