Sports Gala Day Preference Reminder

The Year 3-6 Gala Day preferences are due this Friday 12 April 2024. This form was sent via Compass a few weeks ago. Your input will help us plan accordingly, although please understand that due to limited capacity, we may not be able to accommodate all first preferences. Before submitting your child's preferences, please take note of the following:

1. Transport Responsibility: Students are responsible for arranging their transportation to and from the Gala Days.

2. Non-Competitive Nature: Gala Days are non-competitive events designed to foster enjoyment and participation in sports. They offer a unique opportunity for students to engage in sports they might not typically encounter, all while having a blast with their friends.

3. Behavioural Consideration: It's essential to highlight that student behaviour will play a role in team selection. In instances of poor behaviour, students may be exempt from participating in Gala Days.

4. Parental Involvement: We may need parental volunteers to assist with coaching on the day of the event. As the date approaches, we may reach out for your support in this regard.

Soccer Gala Day - Friday August 23 2024

Term 4: 

Junior Basketball Gala Day (Years 3 & 4) - Thursday September 19 2024

Senior Basketball Gala Day (Years 5 & 6) - Friday September 20 2024

Senior Cricket Gala Day (Years 5 & 6) - Thursday 17 October 2024
