SPORTS UPDATE
Western Region Athletics Carnival
Last Friday 5 August, students represented our school at the Western Region Athletics Carnival. All students represented our school with pride and vigour. Some students performed very well and have been invited to attend the Diocesan Trials next week. Congratulations to:
- - Larae - 1st 11yrs 100m and 200m.
- - Lyla - 1st 11 years High Jump, 2nd Long Jump, 4th Discus.
- - Maia - 1st Junior Shot put, 2nd Discus.
- - Kristo - 3rd 10 yrs 100m, 4th Junior Discus and 200m.
- - Nicolas - 3rd Junior 800m.
- - Nicolas, Kristo, Ryan, Jax - 2nd Junior Boys Relay.
Lyla and Maia were also awarded 3rd place in their Age Group for the day. Well done girls!
Basketball Gala Days
The basketball gals days scheduled for later in the term have been CANCELLED by the Catholic Education Office. I know this is unfortunate as we have held no gala days this year, however these decisions were made based on student and staff safety as well as prioritising student learning
